Congratulations Riun!

Whistler, BC: A murder of crows. A pride of lions. A fuss of mothers.
What is the collective noun for a group of writers? A scrabble? A babel?

In the lead-up to its September 8-13 Writers Retreat, host group The Vicious Circle invited suggestions as to the most appropriate moniker for a gathering of writers, to tag its event with. Twenty-three individuals entered suggestions for the collective noun contest. All submissions were interesting and gave us some things to ponder. Thanks again for taking the time to send your suggestions.

AND THE WINNERS ARE:

A Ruckus of Writers submitted by John Rekrut
A Puzzle of Writers submitted by Ruin Blackwell
Quill Drivers submitted by The Quipping Queen
A Quill of Writers submitted by Linda Crosfield and also by Catherine Johnston
A Scribble of Scribes submitted by Jo-Ann Mundy

Congratulations.

Monday or Wednesday would be the best nights for me, but I'm pretty open, so Tuesday or Thurs, would be okay too. How do people feel about the weekend days? Maybe that would suit better, and more spaces might be available such as the library room? Just a thought.
