Good workshop (Jude)

I enjoyed our workshop on Thursday and want to thank everyone for their work on my poems. I got some great feedback and some interesting ideas and love having scribbled on sheets to take home and study. Live workshops are much more envigorating than online workshops - and more immediate.

For the record, we ran a bit late and talked briefly about restricting our 'crits' to more general issues, leaving editorial comments to the red pen. Leslie will be sending out a list of standard editing notations so we can scribble on the manuscripts in a way that makes sense to the writer.

Next workshop, subs will come from Nicci, Leslie and Mary. We are hoping to meet August 25 at 7:00 pm at the Library. All writers are welcome. If someone wants to bring a jug and ice, it would be nice to have water available. We can use water from the tap.
