Nice to hear from another Squamishian! I have been on the road all summer, and just enjoyed a week in our fair town, and now I'm back on the road again to tour my new book until the end of October. I'm finding it lonely out here, and when I'm back I would love to meet other like minded types in Squamish, so it would be great if there are other events like this one, if you would drop me a line. A writer's group sounds like a great way for me to meet some folks in the hood. Maybe we could go for a coffee or something one day?

My sister told me she heard you read at Forest Fest in Port Alberni yesterday, and she really enjoyed it. She told me you live in Squamish now. Yesterday a bunch of us responded to an invitation in the Chief to come to the Squamish Library to listen to Stella Harvey (from Whistler) talk about starting a Writer's Group in Squamish. We're going to do this, and there's about 12-14 of us interested so far. Would this be something of interest to you, since you live in Squamish now?
